2016 International Bamboo Creative Design Camp kicked off yesterday

     On yesterday afternoon, a study and training program for inheritors of China intangible cultural heritage (bamboo art study and training class) and the 2016 International Bamboo Creative Design Camp Themed "To See a World in a Bamboo" kicked off at the Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Moganshan Town. Pan Yueshan, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Deqing County People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony.

    Sources said that the study and training class is expected to join hands with Dutch artists to bring the public art creativity into Moganshan Town, for the purpose of further exploring the bamboo art resources of the town. During the event, the bamboo creative designers conducted in-depth study on bamboo in the aspects of academics and design, aiming to further boost the interaction between cultural creativity and development of rural business types, and strengthen the relationship between the construction of beautiful countryside and the aesthetics of urban life.

    Pan Yueshan expressed congratulations to the opening of the study and training class and bamboo creative design camp on behalf of the Deqing County.The launch of the study and training class and the creative design camp not only can boost the inheritance, innovation and publicity of intangible cultural heritage and related art, but also can further give more publicity to the bamboo culture of Deqing, thus to bring new development opportunities to operational types of tourism and cultural ecology of Moganshan Town and Deqing County, he said. In addition, he expected the opening of the study and training class and creative design camp to become a window for people of all walks of life to get closer to the bamboo culture of Deqing County and the development of its cultural and creative industry.
